A wonderful addition to our camping experience, allowing us to enjoy the outdoors in comfort. Super convenient to use, easy to stick seldom used items out of sight, and keep a tidy campsite.

Very spacious and convenient rooftop box. It's quite easy to mount, literally takes less than 5 minutes to put it on cross-bars and tighten 4 handles inside. No instruments are required. I manage to mount the box all by myself although it is a bit bulky when putting it on cross-bars without help. It opens from both sides which is very handy. When going skiing it easily fits 5 sets of downhill skis, 6-7 sets of cross-country skis plus helmets, boots and some other skiing gear. Overall I'm quite happy with the purchase.

Works great, very large and spacious. Great for camping season, ski season, and everything inbetween.

It is less sturdy than my previous Thule cargo box of similar size which had the glossy exterior. After approximately 18 months it has developed permanent splotches (discolorations) in the shell coating where bugs hit it. This never happened on my previous model. It is also louder than my previous one and the locking mechanism is more difficult to operate. It does hold a lot of gear and in spite of feeling flimsy it has held up fine, it just looks terrible with the splotches all over it. I've been a loyal Thule consumer for 15 years but I'd seriously look at Yakima and other offerings the next time based on this experience.
